Informal assessment 40%


Writing
Activities

1. Each student will write a short story about the greatest experience of their life.

Reading
Activities

1. Each student have to read aloud his/her story previously written.

2. The group will select and read aloud the best story.
Speaking/Listening
Activities

1. Students will give an opinion of the story and try to explain what the author try to say in the story.

2. Students will deliver a 1 minute speech (each one) and try to convince their class-mates that he/she has the best story.

Evaluation Criteria
Able to read and write correctly = 5 points

1. Correct pronunciation of the words and fluency.
2. Excellent writing without errors.

The student is able to read correctly but he/she has some mistakes = 4

1. Doesn't affect the understanding of the reading text.
2. Writes with some grammatical errors, speaks with some fluency (needs practice)
The student has difficulties in reading = 3
1. He/she is not entirely able to use punctuation and in speaking.
2. He/she doesn't have fluency but the student tries and is doing a visible effort.

The student definitely needs practice in reading = 2

1. He/she doesn't have the knowledge of the grammatical rules of the
target language.
2. He/she gets nervous at the moment of speaking.

He/she can not speak, read and write = 1

1. Needs a lot of practice in these three skills.
